Hello! My name is Briana and I am one of the assistants here at Four Lakes. I am originally from Berwyn, IL, a suburb of Chicago, where my family and dogs still reside. My dogs are both pitbulls, named Addison and Pax. I have wanted to pursue a career with animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up I always had a plethora of pets, including fish, hamsters, dogs, and even a tiny mouse at one point! I currently have a 2-year-old orange cat named Leo, who is my best friend in the whole world.
I am currently a senior at UW-Madison studying Animal Science and I will be graduating in May, 2020. My goal is to attend vet school in the very near future, but I still haven’t decided in what I would like to specialize.
In my free time, I am a Wildlife Rehabilitation Intern at the Dane County Humane Society Wildlife Center. I have had the opportunity to work with tons of super cute wild animals, but if I had to pick a favorite activity, it would have to be feeding the baby opossums (especially when they wrap their tiny tails around my finger)! Outside of work and interning, I like to snuggle with my cat, watch crime shows, and do puzzles. My favorite thing about working in the veterinary industry is talking to clients and really getting to know both them and their pets. I love that I am constantly learning new things in this field and I can’t wait to see what my future holds. I look forward to meeting all of the clients and patients at Four Lakes!
