Four Lakes Veterinary Clinic does not process orders for medications sent directly to us from online suppliers.  Clients who order through online suppliers will need to pick up a written prescription for those medications to provide to the online supplier directly.

Why?

First and foremost, we appreciate that you trust us with the care of your pets and we hope that you know that their health and well-being is our number one priority.
We prefer that our clients get medications directly from us- we need to know that the medications that our patients receive are the exact medications we are prescribing in the proper dosage and that those medications were stored and shipped as mandated by the manufacturer and that they weren’t obtained from another country. We can’t trust an online pharmacy to meet all of our standards of care.

Shop locally- with us! 

We understand that there are many reasons that our clients may want to purchase medications from 3rd party online stores and we want you to make the most informed decision for your pet. We would hope that you order medications and preventatives from our own online store that you can access at www.fourlakesvet.com.
We keep our prices at the clinic and through our own online store as competitive as we possibly can. In some cases, as a small business, we just can't compete with chewy.com or amazon, and these are the times when we would politely ask that you shop locally! We can offer discounts, rebates and, most importantly for the health of your pet, manufacturer-backed guarantees on all the medications we prescribe.
Because our online store is part of our clinic infrastructure you will not need a written prescription for products or medications ordered through it- you simply request the item, we approve it and it ships right to you, often without shipping fees! However, if you choose to buy medications elsewhere we want to give you that option should you choose to do so, as long as you’re aware of the risks.

Guarantees

Our online store's supply chain is 100% secure.  From the time the medication you order is manufactured, all the way to when you are going to give it to your pet, it has been handled, stored and packaged in compliance with manufacturer guidelines. The product you receive is guaranteed to be the name-brand medication in the proper dosage and packaging- this isn’t always the case with 3rd party online pharmacies.
We know your pets and their medical issues and histories- online pharmacists don’t.
