The Quick-Read Version

  • Arriving: Call the clinic when you pull in, and we will come out to you.
  • Drive-through: Use our drive-through to pick up food and medication and to drop off requested samples. If a pickup is too large, we will take payment at the drive-through and bring products out to your car.
  • Tech appointments: Vaccinations, blood draws, allergy shots, anal gland expressions, and nail trims are done in exam rooms unless our team directs otherwise. Sometimes these go better with fewer people in the room, and we will let you know if curbside is the best option.
  • Regular appointments: Choose your own adventure. Come inside with your pet, or wait in your vehicle and we will talk with you once the exam is complete.
  • Curbside appointments: Call the clinic, and we will take your information and bring your pet inside as soon as a space is ready. This is a great option if you are feeling under the weather.
  • In-person appointments: Call the clinic, and we will escort you and your pet inside once their room is ready. If you are feeling unwell, please wear a mask or choose curbside.

Curbside Appointment Details

Curbside visits begin with a call to our team. We will come out to ask questions, note your concerns, and bring your pet inside. Once a doctor has examined your pet, they will call you or come out to your vehicle to discuss findings, treatment options, and your questions. Please stay in our parking lot unless you have let the admitting technician know otherwise. If you need to run an errand, we ask that you return promptly, since space in our clinic is limited. When your visit is complete, we will bring your pet out along with any medications and collect payment.

Same-Day Admission Appointments

For procedures such as surgery or dental care, park in a lettered spot behind our clinic if you are bringing a dog, or in a numbered spot in front if you are bringing a cat. Stay in your vehicle and call the clinic. If you do not have a mobile phone, please let us know when you schedule or confirm your appointment.

A team member will come out to bring your pet inside. If you received a form, please email it back to us or bring it with you, along with your concerns, symptoms, and current medications. We will call or email to discuss any recommended diagnostics, such as laboratory testing, treatments, and our care plan. We will send home or email detailed discharge instructions or a report card, and when your pet is ready to go home, we will bring them out to your car.

Food and Medication Pickups

Need a refill? Call, text, or email the clinic, or send a request through our pet portal. You can pick up through our drive-through from our pharmacy, or order from our online store and have products shipped to your home.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service, and we accept credit cards, checks, and cash.

Why We Still Offer Curbside and Suggest Masks When Unwell

  • We have a small team. If one of us gets sick, many of us can get sick, so we want to protect our team and our clients.
  • We are protecting our kids. We have more than one “clinic baby,” and our littlest future animal advocates are not old enough to receive every vaccine yet.
  • Nervous pets need quiet spaces. Many families with anxious or reactive pets seek out our Fear Free care. Bringing pets straight to a quiet room, instead of a busy lobby, is one of the best ways to reduce stress, especially for pets with anxiety and behavior problems.

Thank you for trusting us with your pet’s care and for understanding the extra steps we take to keep everyone safe and healthy. New to our clinic? Visit our New Clients page, schedule a wellness exam or sick pet visit, or browse our FAQs.
